Changing the way Western Colorado sees skating!
Skating is about to make a resurgence in Western CO. With the closing of the Glacier Ice Arena in Grand Junction a few months ago it has left the community in a state of loss. Hockey players, figure skaters all the way down to general public session skaters have felt the loss of not having anywhere to skate.
We have been working diligently on ways to bring skating back to Western Colorado. We are currently waiting on a truck that will be bringing 8 panels of synthetic ice. Our starting rink size will be 15ft x 15ft and will grow from there. We will be working on all the fine details and will reveal our total plan and location mid week next week. Our Lean to Skate program will be kicking off here in a couple weeks as well. Stay tuned for all the details.
