Earth Day 2011
What a week! A week filled with highs and lows. I can’t believe April is almost over. Tomorrow is Earth Day in much of the country. Tomorrow the rink will be closed because we will be participating in the Earth Day festivities here in Grand Junction. If you’re in the area make plans to pop in and say hello.
The festival will be at the Grand Junction Botanical Gardens and the event will run with vendors from 10am to 3 PM then their will be concerts in the afternoon & evening. More information on the event can be found at

They will have a ton of activities out there for kids like the bump n jump which I am sure the kids will love! We will have a lot planned at our booth as well. We will be registering youth and adults for our Learn to Skate classes which starts May 2nd, you will also be able to purchase open skate punch cards, and we will also be doing boot fittings on site for skaters of all ages and abilities. We also have some neat take aways planned while supplies last, and most of all we will be answering your questions about our facility and about synthetic ice. So come out and enjoy what I am sure will be a beautiful day!
