Another Rink Closes

It’s always sad to hear when a rink closes it’s doors. One of the latest rink closures has happened in Grand Junction, CO which also happens to be in our own back yard. The rink started having some issues with the refrigeration pipes and pipes rusting. The needed repairs to the facility to get it opened back up are over a half million dollars.
There is a grass roots effort to try to save the rink on Facebook. I encourage anyone who can go to the link below and join the effort in trying to raise money to keep skating alive here in the Grand Valley.
