Things are coming along

Things are coming along nicely. I stopped by the rink site this morning to check the levelness of the floor and things should work perfectly. I can’t wait till we can do the install and get the surface down. Skating will be coming back to the Grand Valley and I for one can’t wait. This is going to be a perfect location. I couldn’t have picked a better location.
We are also talking with the Palisade Chamber of Commerce about skating for the Ole Fashion Christmas on Dec 10th and 11th. If we can pull everything together it should be a great family event.
With the opening of our rink coming in the near future I am curious. In your mind what would the perfect rink include? What amenities or programs would you like to see with our facility? Leave us a comment below we want to know!

We have a Location

We have a location in mind for our rink. After weeks of searching we have things worked out for a location of the rink. We have chosen to have the rink on the Palisade side of Grand Junction. We are still waiting for all the numbers to come in and all that good stuff but we have a light at the end of the tunnel now. With a little luck we will be kicking off our brand new Learn to Skate Program about the 2nd week of Oct. Stay tuned for more details!

Sorry for the lateness on where our rink will be located. We have run into a couple roadblocks that are out of our control. We are working hard and we hope to have an actual location set up in the next couple days. Trust me we are just as excited to bring skating back to the valley as you are to have a place to skate.
We hope to have everything ironed out this week. With a little luck we will have where the rink will be and when our LTS program will start. We are looking forward to a busy week ahead.
